Description

The YSS MZ Series is an affordable but great quality replacement aftermarket shock absorber, built from top quality materials offering corrosion resistance and a weight saving when compared to the OEM equivalent. The MZ series shock is an emulsion design.

Excellent Service and Great Shock

Marc at Brook Suspension was a huge help when it came to upgrading the suspension on my CRF 250 rally, he talked me through what spring rates he's recommend for the fork along with this YSS rear shock, the shock has transformed the bike completely! It actually sits in the correct sag range now and the with the addition of a stiffer front spring, the bike responds as it should do without wallowing in the bottom half of it's stroke all the time. I'd recommend the upgrade for anyone with a 250 Rally, it's not a huge expense and will give you so much more enjoyment out of the bike

Got a CRF 250 Rally? This is a no brainer

I recently purchased a Honda CRF 250 Rally, to have as a bit of a project. When it came to addressing the suspension issue, which on the CRF 250 L is notoriously under sprung and underdamped, after a bit of research I contacted Brook Suspension by phone and was given great advice, which led me to order a rear YSS shock and uprated front fork spring that same day. The order took a few days as the fork spring wasnt in stock, but Brook kept me updated and sent the items as soon as they had them. I fitted them recently and couldnt be more happy, the uprated suspension fitted perfectly and was easy to adjust even once installed. It has transformed the bike. Anyone who owns one of these bikes, plans on riding offroad...and wants to find out just what these bikes are capable of when fitted with decent suspension, really needs to add these items to their shopping list along with slightly lowered gearing and an exhaust that doesn't double up as an anchor!! For the price, absolutely brilliant.

Ordered to give me something to do during covid problems. Great choice of brands and an easy to navigate website made finding what I was after very easy. The shock turned up very quickly, shop performance excellent with minimal delay. Thanks. The shock itself appears to be a first class item, well made with a superb looking finish to all parts. Packaging too is right up there from a safety/damage point of view but also the look which belies the cost. Unable to give it a road test just yet but it seems to be a great update from the feel as a start! Thanks Yss and Brook!

Who do we use to deliver your order?

Our back office systems are fully integrated with Royal Mail, FedEx and DHL which means that the second your parcel is dispatched you will be sent an email containing your tracking details, we also aim to incorporate your mobile number within the booking process to allow the courier to send you a text message. This allows both you and us to track your parcel's every move from our door to yours!

Small items and orders such as fork spares are usually sent via Royal Mail whereas shock absorbers and forks will be sent via FedEx or DHL, all of whom make daily collections from our premises.

All our delivery costs are calculated on total weight, this includes the weight of both the products and the packaging.
